BAL-FZ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The test simulated exposure to direct flame from a bushfire front prescribed for roller shutters in AS1530.8.2:2018 is extremely severe requiring the shutter to withstand a temperature of 841°C which well exceeds Aluminium melting temperature. Product research and development carried out between 2016 and 2019 has resulted in a new product for the Australian market; a fully tested* and compliant** BAL-FZ Stainless Steel roller shutter.
